The physical world: Matter

The physical world The world word is the word that creates the world. The world as we know it was created from a spiritual world. In order to come to the present state, it went through various stages of development, condensation and formations. A spiritual word containing all germs condensed into spiritual gestures, further into etheric movements and this in turn into physical expression. In this way, the four basic elements and the natural phenomena associated with them were gradually created through condensation. Thus, from a spiritual-scientific point of view, the development of the world is still seen today in four different stages: 1. the Saturn phase in which heat appears first. It is the first planetary state of the earth, which consists of different heat agglomerations. Matter, however, only arises in the appearance of the element fire. 2. the solar phase in which heat, air (to be thought of as the basic appearance of a gaseous element, air) is added. A planetary state consisting of heat, air and eclipse of light. Matter thus is condensed from heat to air. Air is related to light and can also be seen as the eclipse or shadow of light. 3. the lunar phase in which water (to think of as a basic appearance of a watery element, water) is added to heat and air. A planetary state consisting of heat, air, eclipse of light, water, gravity-light. 4. the state of the earth in which the solid, mineral (to be thought of as the basic appearance of a solid, as the element earth) is added to heat, air and water. A planetary state consisting of heat, air, eclipse of light, water, gravity, earth and atomic force of fragmentation. So we see in the development of the earth four stages of a condensation, of the spiritual to fire, to air, to water, to the solid mineral (earth). These four qualities of existence are also the four elements that are considered to be effective on earth. Everything physical on earth can be seen in one or the other elementary state without contradicting actual scientific observations. A spiritual view of the world will everywhere seek knowledge of nature as well as knowledge of the soul and spirit, a search for knowledge that does not stop at the dead, but continues into the living. A view of the world, therefore, that seeks the soul, the essence, the spiritual in everything that is matter, in everything that is fire, air, water, earth, and in everything that is active forces. Matter is spirit in a different state. Behind all phenomena, mineral, plant, animal, human, planet and fixed stars one then also finds spiritual beings that work through their physical revelation. We can think and calculate matter, molecules and various elements, as an effect of even smaller particles and energies. They can, however, be regarded as spiritual beings on an equal footing "In truth, it is the case with the smallest molecule that the whole starry sky acts upon this molecule", (B069, 24.4.1920). Thus, the beings that manifest themselves in the fixed stars send forces into the molecules, the planetary spirits send forces into the molecules, there ... "...they intersect in various ways, forming points of intersection. The planets also send their forces in, they intersect, so that everywhere in this molecule there is nothing but the summary of the forces of the macrocosm", (B069, 24.4.1920). Thus, a holistic knowledge of matter will become possible, if one justifiably combines scientific and spiritual scientific knowledge. What today is atom was worked out by higher beings (the angel hierarchy "masters of wisdom") at the developmental stage of the moon phase. "The plan of earth evolution was there, infinitely multiplied and infinitely diminished. And do you know what that is, what the Masters of Wisdom worked out on the moon at that time? These are the atoms, the atoms of the Earth. . . The first one recognizes the atom of a planet, who recognizes in it the miniaturized plan of evolution of the planet." (B101, P.134). In the atoms can be found the development plan of the earth, the development idea expressed in it. Thus in the atoms and molecules there is in each case a force effect, from the elementary, etheric and from the sub-nature (e.g. air, light ether, electricity). "Atoms are to regard as ideal volumes ... as intersection of lines of forces, atom: result of forces tetrahedral." (B113, p. 28) and no force is in this world without which it was produced by a being. Today's natural science regards atoms as energy and various smallest particles that can be expressed in energy. If the atoms were thought to be only electricity (or energy), they would be mentally deprived of the higher elementary, etheric and spiritual part. One thinks of them only in the subphysical, that is, in the realm of evil. Just like thoughts that want to exclude from their consciousness, the elementary and the spiritual world, only want to see the evil part of the world. "Modern materialism, which divides the world into atoms, into physical-material ones, what does it want and does it do? It wants to immortalize the powers of sin. For matter is condensed injustice. The material must dissolve again into spirit through spiritual development. We have to take away from nature again the moral which is laid in it by divine worldly wisdom", (B143, 14.5.1913, distinction A). Not to formulate a prejudice or a theory about how the world should be, but to try to perceive and recognize that which actually exists. The spiritual world works into these atoms via the etheric and elementary. Different kinds of ether1 work into the different elements and in these the elementary beings work into matter. So for example the chemical ether, also called sound ether, acts on the matter in a way that it is organized. Sound ether brings formation. A certain sound gives a form in the physical (B153). "The leaf of the tree is formed from the sound." (B113, P.25). Everywhere the spiritual is at work, the world is not mechanical automatism, the world is acting spiritual. "Power is the one-sided spatially seen revelation of the spirit. ..., so is the real process: A certain quantum of mechanical energy is able to excite a certain quantum of this revelation in a spirit being that reveals itself as heat", (B113, p.28). The effect of force excites a warmth being. This also follows a law, but with the inclusion of the existing spiritual world and beings. "Sound, for example, is an essential agony2 , and the effect of this essential agony when passing through the air is: the vibration ...", (B113, p.28). It is not a quest for knowledge if, out of existing habits of thinking and perceptive abilities, I write a theoretical picture of the world. The cognition comes only then, on the way to an image of the truth, when it wants to consider all facts involved.
