Legal life: State organisms
State organisms The social limb of legal life is now developing a legal order that enables, guarantees and promotes a dignified life for all people of this tripartite organism according to the existing intellectual and economic possibilities. The task of legal life is to give the free and uninfluenced spiritual life room to develop and to draw the economic life its humane boundaries so that a tripartite, viable organism can develop. "In the political body of the state such institutions will be created, which will orient the mutual relations between people and groups of people in such a way that the legal consciousness of the individual is met. ... Such a state under the rule of law has its own legislative and administrative body, both of which are constructed according to the principles arising from the legal consciousness of modern times. It will be built on the impulses in humanity's consciousness that are currently called democratic impulses. The economic area will form its legislative and administrative bodies1 from the impulses of economic life. The necessary communication between the authorities of the legal and economic bodies will be similar to that which currently takes place between the governments of sovereign territories", (B179, "II. The Realistic Solutions to Social Questions and Necessities Required by Life"). Economic life flourishes where fraternity is at work, where people can develop and apply their professional and intellectual abilities, where interpersonal interaction in the exchange of goods can live for the good of all concerned, and where there is confidence in the security of agreements and contracts. Where the state or the legal system intervenes too much in the economy by controlling and regulating it, steering bodies that are often technically unsuitable and overwhelmed by the complexity of reality try to make decisions and cause substantial economic damage. As was evident in the case of state-owned enterprises or, to a much more terrible extent, in the communist planned economy. The improper influence of state authorities on the economy dampens the orientation towards reality as well as the ability to take the initiative (B024, 3.8.1922). In accordance with its nature, the state organism tries to make economic processes secure, long-term plannable, well documented and controllable. In this way, the living, constantly changing economic life is then led into a more or less solidification. Where all processes are to be regulated and all work is to be secured (as is often the case in state enterprises), new impulses, new technical or organisational ideas, a market and consumer orientation, can only assert themselves with difficulty. The legal, state sector must not interfere with freedom of thought, freedom of opinion, freedom of belief, intellectual freedoms of free intellectual life. "For this purpose, the "intellectual life" must be based on full freedom also in life. This freedom can never be achieved if there is supervision or administration on the part of the political member of the social organism", (B225, "Records of the Zurich Lectures on
"). It is the responsibility of the social limb of legal life to ensure that an equilibrium is established between the fulfilment of duties and legal responsibility, which is experienced as humane and just. In an existing social organism, in which its members perform their duty for the common good in all areas of life, there must be limits to the rights of people who do not belong to this social organism and who have not performed, are not performing or will not perform duties for the good of their fellow human beings. "...the legal relationship: It is based on the relationship between man and man. The law is decisive. It results from the fact that the one who intervenes in the social organism for the prosperity of others has a right "with right". It is not power that decides, but the extent to which a person's activity intervenes in the social organism." (B225, "Records of the Zurich lectures on
"). After all, for a legal organism which has the welfare of the community of people at heart, it is also essential the will and striving of the people concerned. "The basis of law is not power, but what is profitable for the community. - This is a right that has the will to put what is justified by the right into the service of the whole", (B225, "Records of the Zurich Lectures on "The Social Question"). The good will, the professional ability, the good striving to embody this in a good new reality, this is what counts in a person, not some power that wants to give an advantage to immoral goals. After all, it is the task of man and humanity here on earth to become aware of their ego development of their self. Self-knowledge becomes world-knowledge, in the knowledge of the world with its good and evil powers it is also the task of a social organism to be aware of the good and evil beings and powers in and outside of human beings. To strive for an appropriate design of the social organism, rights and laws that help to promote the good in people, to transform evil into good. If man and humanity, their own mental and spiritual development, do not take their own spiritual and intellectual development into their own hands with self-confidence, then other forces that are contrary to human development use their power. They then conduct a secret war against humanity by exploiting the unconscious people. Thus, today's social organisms and the living shaping (politics) of them must be brought back into a loving construction of a community that wants to be a human being and I. Today the political "opponent" is fought by denunciation, lies, suppression of opinion and deception, in the future "a yes is a yes, your no is a no", (Mt., 5:37), moral security and courage in the representation of truth must again apply. Today, any tools are used to gain an advantage: Suppression and falsification of information, suppression of freedom of expression, manipulation of consciousness and thoughts, thought disturbing radio waves, use of ritual anti-humanity selfish magic, persecution of dissenters. A new social organism must be developed, which is an embodiment of the ideal of the I-wanting human being. A policy will only be able to bring fruitfulness to people again when it is also oriented towards agreed rules and moral behaviour. "For we only have a real politics in principle when everything that takes place in the political field takes place in legal forms" (B157, p. 42).
