Humanity that wants the I of man
IV. The I-Wanting Humanity "Unless more numbers and figures Are keys of all creatures, When they sing like that or kiss like that, More than the scholars know, When the world turns to free living, And into the world will go back, Then when light and shadow For true clarity will be married, And in fairy tales and poems Recognize the eternal world histories, Then fly before a secret word The whole perverse being gone." Novalis Man as part of the world, a microcosm in the macrocosm. A spiritual being, a soul in a physical body. Part of a justified world and human development. Today it is our challenge to understand ourselves as spiritual beings, which finds its expression in the physical body. It is our responsibility to understand the world and the development to such an extent that we understand ourselves and our way in it. To find our legitimate path of development in every moment. To understand and acknowledge that the world consists of good and evil. To find the legitimate path of what higher good spiritual beings can and want to give us as development. At the same time to be aware of the possible aberrations from the path. Through the Luciferian and Ahrimanic. We seek the Christ, strive to seek a connection with the Christ. To become a follower of Christ in seeking and striving for the spirit. Evil is active in the world today, visible, almost overpowering. Recognize, acknowledge. Living with the existence and possibility of evil. Seeking and keeping a good, justified path in constant balance. This is shown to us by the depiction of the Ahriman, Christ and Lucifer (see above illustration). If we want to found communities, it cannot be to want to develop a pure, light, good, flawless one, leading away from the earth in a Luciferian way, not to look for a utopian, earthly, fully automated, lifeless "ideal society", a rather Ahrimanic kingdom. Rather, to always take into account and transform the evil on the way, always wanting to strive for the Christian way anew. To be here and now, to live the moment, to be present in the present with all senses, feelings, will and thought, fully aware of the self. Not being Luciferian in the blissful past, without individuality in the heights of heaven, not being Ahrimanic, wanting to have abilities and future things that one does not yet possess or is not able to have. Not hoping, tomorrow it will somehow solve itself, not being impulsively satisfied with what exists. To recognize today, the present possibilities and act accordingly. Finding the right balance between recognizing the inadequacy of the existing situation, but the will to improve it according to existing strengths and abilities. Acknowledging the present conditions as existing fate. Recognize, acknowledge and not reject your own fate. But also wanting to accept, grasp and achieve the new, future at any time. Each person and his striving, is important for the whole, in the place where he is active, where he lives, for humanity. Even the smallest and most insignificant work can and is often of the greatest importance. It is not the material goals of money, power, success that count, but the human, moral successes that can be set for the spiritual and mental in man. Even failure can have its good and healing effect. You can only understand something, improve something, if you show interest in it. Only with interest in a thing or a matter can a person devote himself to it, internalize the ideas of the matter and connect himself inwardly with it. If one connects oneself with something, one can also increase one's interest in it, increased interest, special interest in a thing or a being is called love. Only through love can the ego connect completely with the other. Love connects us, love is in high form the oneness of beings. We experience the other with him, we rejoice and suffer with him, knowing through compassion. Which begins with interest: Who are you? What do you need? What are your talents and virtues? Leads to a community that wants the I development of the people. Which asks itself: Who are we? What will we want to do? What do you need? What can we do? Where do we want to go? Man is not a standardised simple-minded being, but all human beings have become of God and have been created by God, but each human being is an individuality with its own special destiny. Together we are humanity. Our fellow human beings in their individuality, which appears to us as otherness, acknowledge their weaknesses, see and help them to bear them and to transform them into virtues. But also to recognize their strengths and to develop them together. Always maintain the ability to talk. The macrocosm is tripartite, man is a tripartite being, just as human society is structured in three parts. This should apply to the earthly world: a. Freedom in spiritual life, the ego of the social organism and being. b. Equality before the law, the soul of the social organism and being. c. Fraternity in interpersonal action, the body of the social organism and being. In all things, spiritual entities and processes behind them are revealed. The physical revelations are only an illusion, against the true spiritual realities. Thus man is continuously surrounded by the most diverse objects, buildings and natural things. In all of these, secret beings reveal themselves to him. Through the training of his higher sense organs, man can perceive these beings. The most different beings, good things on the human being on beings that have a supporting effect and those that have a dampening, disturbing, destroying effect on him. Man is surrounded by the most different spiritual effects that flow in on him. The surroundings have a supporting effect on him or can also have a dampening, hindering effect. We can learn to recognize what is promoting or hindering depending on the type, composition, harmony and beauty of an object. Today we must become aware that we also live in a spiritual world. What comes to us as a problem, a challenge, is not a physical problem. It is not the problem of others. It shows us our own being, on which it is our task to work. World is spirit, where we grasp the world as spirit, there we will also be able to transform the world into a better world out of the spiritual. The problems of humanity will not be solved by external measures, but by Christian transformation of the inner soul of the people. So seek always to transform the existing into something positive, constructive and beautiful. Turn and do not speak negatively & destructively. Never knowingly harm anyone. Do your task correctly, with all your strength and joy for the benefit of your environment. Man is a microcosm in which the macrocosm is reflected. What the beings of the sun, earth, moon, planets and fixed stars are in the cosmos, has its counterpart in man. Only if we can understand the world and human beings as spiritual beings, can we succeed in forming social connections that are fruitful. From the knowledge of microcosm (man) and macrocosm (world), man can form between organisms; communities, enterprises up to states which correspond to the same world laws. Just as man has a tripartite structure, so also every healthy organism. But not only the structure, but also the connection with the physical and spiritual world should be oriented to the knowledge of man in such organisms. Today is the time of the reappearance of the Christ in the etheric world and with it, out of spiritual science, the development of a new understanding of Christ. Infinitely much depends on our relationship to them. Spiritual science, which allows us to understand the world and human beings better and can lead us to a true knowledge of Christ and the world, and so we can come into a conscious connection with the spiritual world. For we can only find fruitful impulses for the future if we can take up moral impulses from the spiritual world. But then also the moral technique, the respective necessary earthly abilities to bring these moral impulses to a flourishing effectiveness for our fellow men. So much depends on us having a true conception of the world. Whoever, out of a mechanistic-materialistic world view, thinks of the human body as if the heart were a pump, cannot really imagine a social organism. The organs ask for the amount of blood they need and the heart does not pump the blood, the heart regulates and distributes it rhythmically, in a balance for the whole body. This is also a principle for every social organism, the organs know what they need and the sun, the heart, the Christpower distributes what is necessary in the view of the whole. The heart as the place of etherization of the blood (see Chapter II). Where the substance of the blood dissolves, to etheric substance "human blood, which is a physical substance, a matter, continually dissolves into etheric substance, so that in the region of the heart a continuous transition of the blood into fine etheric substance takes place", (B001, 1.10.1911) and so moral-aesthetic impulses can flow into us. Man has his heart that can achieve this union with the Christ impulse, and then moral intuition, moral-aesthetic impulses flow into us. The macrocosm has the sun as something corresponding to the heart, and so social organisms should also have a shape, organs, blood vessels, limbs that correspond to the macro- and microcosmic design. Every social organism needs its heart which opens the way to the spiritual world in Christ connection. "In essence, human life is justified only by placing our thoughts at the service of the good and beautiful, and by letting our intellectual activity be permeated by the true, genuine lifeblood of the divine-spiritual life, by letting its moral impulses flow through it", (B001, 1.10.1911). So to find a kind of cosmic design for social organizations. In the view of the Father: What made us what we are; of the Son: What we make of it ourselves; of the Spirit: Where it will go. With full recognition of the present and an affirmation of the individuality of each human being. Realizing moral impulses in such a way that they correspond to the destiny of our fellow human beings. Our thoughts are facts that produce effects and our actions shape a future world. There is evil, this must be taken into account, not rejected, denied or dismissed, but recognized and tried to turn it into a good. More and more humanity is taking responsibility for itself. At the same time we will come more and more into life situations where one person, one group of people will not be able to move forward without the help of the other person or persons. There are hurdles that cannot be overcome by one person alone, the fellow human being sees this, helps him, together they will get further. "You only feel the suffering of others, now feel mine as well." (B149, 1.12.1918). Everything that surrounds us, also all matter, is an expression of the spiritual, it is spirit, even if in a different state. Everything that man creates, works of art, goods, buildings, organisations are also expressions of the spiritual. Spiritual beings work through our works. The one or the other quality of spiritual beings is given something through our works and our communities through which they can express themselves in the material world. All our activities should therefore be in a direct spiritual context. Nothing should be merely symbolic, but that which it is in its innermost truth, then "... one speaks justifiably of the spirit when one means the spirit as creator of that which is material", (B075, 12.12.1919). What we put into the world will shape the future, not only the immediate future, but also the future of the next embodiment of the earths, the (new) Jupiter. Whatever moral impulses we put into the world will form the world of the future. "We have to arrange our thoughts and feelings in the appropriate way, in a way that we have in mind as a moral ideal", (B042, 10.12.1920). People can only work in new communities in new cultures or what has developed from the old peoples as cultures. Rudolf Steiner the sociological basic law: "In the beginning of the cultural states humanity strives for the emergence of social associations; the interest of the individual is first sacrificed to the interest of these associations; the further development leads to the liberation of the individual from the interest of the associations and to the free development of the needs and forces of the individual", (B166 ,Kap: "Freiheit und Gesellschaft"). Only a human community can develop enough strength and ability to give its members the possibilities to develop freely and individually. It is a harmony of individualities and community. Also a larger group like a people, a cultural area, a nation, a state, a society are and can be the organism for a common spiritual being. Like an archangel always, which is the spirit of language or people. From this common spirit, spiritual being and the healthy fertilizing connection to the leading spiritual being or beings gives the fertility of the cultural, spiritual, legal, economic, technological, agricultural. "... for the social impact of the inner experience of a cause carried on in community... Whoever has such a sense will see through how economic productivity is promoted when the capital-based management of economic life has its roots in the area of free spiritual life", (B179, "III Capitalism and Social Ideas", p.98). Future human communities are related to the Christ-being. Future human activity, in this sense as described in the Science of the Grail, depends on their spiritual development. "... the concepts which are necessary to grasp again the true reality of man and thus to understand to some extent the true reality of the world, these concepts must be fluid, these concepts must not be sharply contoured, for reality is not something rigid, but something in the making. And if we want to grasp reality with our concepts and ideas, we must follow the flow, the becoming of reality with our concepts. (B46, 24.8.1918). "But it is not by making up beautiful phrases, for example, about a deepening of the human interior, about all kinds of social impulses that man should learn, that one comes to really ground these social impulses, these social feelings, in the human individuality. This will only be achieved when man learns, as he has learned in the last three or four centuries, to belong with his sensual organism to the world of the senses, when he learns to belong with his spiritual organism to a spiritual world, when he learns to belong with his spiritual organism to a spiritual world, when he is able to carry ideas about the great destiny of mankind into the individual everyday life. ... For only the life of everyday life that has really gone through, that has a soul, is also practical in reality", (B196, 21.8.1921). Healing, healing To gain freedom, man had to be separated from God. The separation, the sin set in. But segregation from God brought sickness and death. The healing lies in the free decision of man to overcome this original sin, the separation from God. To be one with the good gods again as a free individuality. Being permeated with love and truth makes us healthy. Our striving should therefore always be to let no hatred, no fear and no evil enter our soul and to let it be. If a person fills himself with pure love for his fellow human beings, for nature, for the world and for the Divine, his soul, his spirit and subsequently his body will also become healthy. To work against us in us is a specialization of God, this leads in balance in this or a next incarnation to illness and destiny necessities. Every good thought can make us healthy in the long run. The path of inner purification described in Chapter III leads to a connection with the great guardian of the threshold, the Christ, and a conscious connection to the spiritual world. This will make us healthy. In ancient Egypt, people still knew about the healing effect that real connection with the spiritual world means. The temple sleep was healing, which was used by the Egyptian priests of that time (B148, 5.8.1908). The greatest healing was brought to the sick when they were brought back to this temple sleep until the Lemurian period when there was still asexual reproduction. "There stood before the sick man lying in temple sleep the figure of the woman bearing her own kind without fertilization by her kind. There before him stood the woman who gave birth, the woman with the child, who is virgin there, goddess, who was a comrade of men in those Lemurian times, and who has since vanished from the gaze of mankind. (B148, P.41). The goddess Isis as the pure virgin mother. And in later times the mother of Christ the new virgin. Since the event of Golgotha, there can no longer be a priest as in the Egyptian times, who takes over the healing, today everyone is responsible for himself and his development. To shape one's soul in such a way that it becomes mature to penetrate with the entitled spirit, one's own higher self. Today we ourselves must build a temple to the spirit within. Novalis said "A flourishing country is a more royal work of art than a park. A tasteful park is an English invention. A country that satisfies the heart and mind is likely to be a German invention; and the inventor would be the king of all inventors. Today one can say, a country in which love, heart, striving soul and spirit will prevail will be an invention of those who recognize themselves from the truth, from the science of the spirit up as citizens of the world1, who build together temples for the spirit, independent of any origin in Christ connection and greatest seriousness and virtuousness. And out of which they become active. Finding the right measure in action (B110) What we can do ourselves, what we can express ourselves, what we can understand and put in order, we must do ourselves. We cannot delegate this to someone else. In truth, they can never do it as well as we can. What he can do better we should leave it to him and not take it over. It is now the moment when we take responsibility for our own words and actions. Set up one's actions in such a way that one's fellow man is not impaired in his free development. Not acting out of fear of making mistakes is a failure to try to help. Acting thoughtlessly without considering the will of the other person is a compulsive interference in his rights and freedoms. The mobile balance, striving for good, with compassion for what is occurring in the fellow human being, is the right measure of the actor. As long as the being is not clear, one has weaknesses in the qualities. It is these flaws that one is accommodating as an environment/mates. The more one wants to impose his will on the world, the more strongly it resounds back to him (Against). It is the double, that unredeemed self. If one wants to force something into it by force, a person with such qualities invincible/with greater powers than one has oneself will meet you. That which one wants to force forces one, as long as it comes from selfishness. No matter how selfless selfishness (one) may seem. Like the magician the magicians, the user of the legal system the user of the legal system, the contract designer, sloppy, ... etc. Everything opposes you invincible like the Feirefis (B178). You have to resign yourself, overcome your own mistakes and selfishness (Secrets Goethe) and let the Christ within you (B106, "Light on the Path") fight. Free, easy, playful, concentrated, for others. Human creative work is not that which has often been practiced, organized, planned, known and secured in every detail. Work is where it is alive, where new creation is made. Where there is no guarantee or experience, but only the idea of it, the freedom to do it and the hope to be able to do it, then it is documented and practiced. Something new is brought into the world, then life goes out again, it is secured, documented, and in time it turns into solidification. The new, the disturbance of the existing, the challenge, the difficulties, the unknown, that is the value-creating work. Life changes and creates something new. What has come to life passes over solidification into death. Through death (decline, crisis, insolvency, ...), new life is made room. People with ideas, ideals, professional, technical, social skills and the individual, intellectual, spiritual, moral prerequisites have developed today's civilizations to what they are today. "Moral action thus presupposes, in addition to the moral capacity for ideas and moral imagination, the ability to transform the world of perceptions without breaking through its natural law context. This ability is moral technique", (B27, Chapter "XII. The moral imagination"). Where moral intuition is used, this can be fruitful if the corresponding technical/professional/terrestrial ability to implement the moral technique is available. To do meaningful work means to be aware of the content and goal of the work, thought through and uninfluenced by traditional and hierarchical forces. If you want to integrate your ideas into the world, you must not be fixated on the success of the matter. Patience in implementation, politeness and friendliness in following one's own path. Faith in the good, unfading hope. In balance between the obstacles, resistance to the new, free, easy and flexible in implementation. In love for all beings, from warmed hearts, feeling the suffering and joy of fellow men. "Living in the love to act and letting live in the understanding of the foreign will is the basic maxim of the free human being. They know no other "ought" than that with which their will is intuitively in harmony; how they will want in a special case will be told to them by their capacity for ideas", (B027, Chapter: "IX. The Idea of Freedom"). This is the true concept of the moral man who, despite all obstacles and obstacles, holds fast to his idea and ideal and continues to work. If life wants to and should live, then it must also unfold so much power that it can do so. A force develops like a wall where resistance bounces off. I am indeed. Man, eternal action.
