The Reappearance of the Christ in the Etheric Earlier with the appearance of spiritual science, the publication of secret knowledge went the end of the darkening of the spiritual world, so the slow descent of humanity from the spiritual realms to the physical world and the current turning point can be represented in the Eastern Age terms: (B078) : 1st Krita Yuga (Golden Age) : During the Atlantic Age, humans still had a natural, atavistic clairvoyance. 2. treta yuga (silver age) : During the ancient Indian, and partly also ancient Persian period. The people had already to practice clairvoyance (yoga). 3rd Dvapara Yuga (Iron Age / Ore Age) : Chaldean-Babylonian-Assyrian-Egyptian Age. A certain degree of the ancient twilight clairvoyance was still present. 4th Kali Yuga (dark age) : 3101 B.C. - 1899 A.D.: People were almost completely cut off from the experience of the spiritual world. 5th Our Age : 1899 A.D. - 4399 A.D.: Since the year 1899, a connection to the spiritual world begins again. Here and today it is very important that the world view of materialism does not win. With the embodiment of Christ a time began in which enthusiasm arose from the spreading of the Christ impulse. It is the Christ himself who moves from heart to heart, from soul to soul, who can move and work through the world, regardless of whether souls understand him or not. The time has passed in which the one who worked Christ in this way, the time has come where people have to understand, have to recognize the Christ. This change of times was accompanied in the spiritual world by the struggle of the archangel Michael against the powers of evil. This lasted from about 1830 to 1879, when Michael and the angels faithful to him had thrown all demons onto the earth1. Now also the Christ concept will play a much more important role in the future. For understanding the Christ-being and the Christ-impulse: deepest concepts, conceptions and ideas. One has to get to know what a science of the spirit can tell you about the spiritual world, about the high sun being, about the Logos himself and about the Christ. (B054, 1st lecture). In our age, from the 20th century onwards, the significant thing is that the Christ becomes the Lord of karma2 , which will make it incumbent upon him to determine in the future what our karmic account is, how our debit and credit in life relate to each other. In the course of our time, this office will pass to the Christ Jesus, and man will increasingly encounter the Christ Jesus as his judge, as his karmic judge. This is the supernatural event that takes place in the company of the return of the Christ. Just as the event took place in Palestine, so the transfer of the karmic office of judge to the Christ Jesus in our age takes place in the next higher world. And it is this fact that will work its way in, into the physical world, that man will develop a feeling that with what he does, he creates something to which he will be accountable to the Christ. "...this feeling... which now occurs naturally in the course of the development of mankind, will be transformed so that it will imbue the soul with a light which emanates from man himself little by little, and which will illuminate the figure of Christ within the ethereal world", (B022, 7.10.1911). For the event that occurs in the supersensible world is that Christ appears again, but no longer in the physical world, but in the next higher world in the etheric world. A return of the Christ in the ethereal world (B022, pp. 78-80). There will now gradually appear people who will again have more powers of perception for what was veiled to them by Luciferian and Ahrimanic influences: man will see in one action, a dream image (or shadowy images) of another action, which will be the karmic effect of the first. These will then be fulfilled on the physical plan in 3 - 4 days. Individual people will be able to see the etheric body of the person or see the Christ appearing in the etheric and have a memory of past human lives. But the appearance of the Christ in the etheric will also have the consequence that the Christ can really appear to people, groups of people. He will not only be able to be here once, but many times at the same time in different places. His presence and His words will be comfort and advice to people in their most difficult trials (B078). The fifth post-Atlantic period is marked by the end of the wisdom of ancient mysteries and their impulses. And the people, if they do not develop again from own striving and forces to the spiritual without new impulses, one will see how thereby economic system and societies come to a standstill (B085). People who do not rise to the independence of the ego-consciousness will look for solutions to the world's problems in programs and theories and thus trigger even greater problems and catastrophes (B084, p.202). If spiritual science (anthroposophy) does not prevail in natural science and art, humanity will face a rapid and terrible disintegration. So if people do not rethink their ideas from the purely physical-sensual view to the expansion of their view of the world, to the spiritual world, then there will be a moral deluge in Europe (B075, p. 196). For the forces that have unconsciously guided man and the development of humanity are exhausted and are exhausted by the middle of the 20th century. From the depths of the soul, people must bring forth the new forces. And that is the character of our time, that people today are in front of the whole world and that they do not know out and in. "For indeed the external things that are appearing today, the rampant misery in the world, which will become much, much stronger in the near future, because men do not want to absorb anything spiritual with their thoughts - because first of all one has to know the matter - this misery comes from the fact that one does not want to get involved in knowing anything about reality and one cannot know anything about reality if one does not pay attention to the spiritual. (B063, P. 256). The task of the Age of the Consciousness Soul is precisely to help people to regain an understanding and a view of the spiritual world from their own ego forces3. No longer to train only perceptive abilities of the physical-sensual world, but also organs of perception for the spiritual world. Just as in the first post-Atlantic periods the air soul process (yoga breath) was the way for people to enter into a connection with the spiritual world, so today it is the light soul process. Through our main organisation we have an incomplete view of nature, what we call the outer world, and through our inner organisation, through the organisation of the rest of the human being, we have an incomplete knowledge of ourselves. It now has to be consciously regained what was previously pictorially-looking-unconsciously available as knowledge of the inner and outer. This means that we must again come to the grasp of something that is within the human being, that belongs at the same time to the outer world and the inner world, which in turn overlaps. This must be the endeavour of the 5th Cultural Age to find something in the human interior again, where in what we find in ourselves an external process takes place at the same time. Take a flame, look intensively into it. Something happens there that can be compared, only it is much finer with inhalation. Then close your eyes, (you can do something similar with any sense) then you have an afterimage of the flame, it still changes, fades away. In this process of absorbing the impression of light and the subsequent fading away, the human ether body is essentially involved, apart from what is purely physiological. This is something very important, it is in a similar way as before the air soul process, the sense process is a soul soaking, a light soul process. We have to develop the subtleties of our intercourse with the world, so that in our reception of the world we have not only sensory perceptions, but spiritual. We have to become certain that with every ray of light, with every sound, with every sensation of warmth and its fading away we enter into an intercourse with the world and this intercourse has to become something significant for us. (B004, P. 64). In this way it will become apparent how the development of humanity is increasingly becoming the responsibility of the people. How important each individual human being and his striving for the spiritual is. How every impulse of every human being is essential for the advancement of mankind. And how the prosperity of humanity depends on the formation of groups of people who achieve an understanding of what is necessary today. With the publication of the initiation and the establishment of the science of the spiritual worlds (anthroposophy), the responsibility of every human being to use this knowledge, insights and abilities for the development of humanity has also increased. If they are used for the selfishness of group goals, against the welfare of fellow human beings, this would cause great harm. Spiritual science can also become the renewed knowledge of Christ. To acquire a wisdom that leads to this knowledge of Christ. Not only to know of our salvation through the Christ, but to learn to understand the Logos and the Sun Spirit little by little. In this way we can redeem those beings who are said to have killed the divine wisdom. "When man recognizes the Christ, when he truly engages in wisdom to see through what the Christ is, he redeems himself and the Luciferian entities through the Christ recognition", (B037, 22.3.1909). The Luciferian spirits have brought freedom to man, and by using this freedom for our pursuit of the knowledge of the spirits and from this for the knowledge of the Christ, we transform the Luciferian sins on earth into a beneficence. "Freedom is won, but it will be taken into the spiritual sphere as a benefit", (B037, 22.3.1909). Thus the Luciferian spirits are redeemed, the wisdom killed and stolen by them is raised in knowledge by the Spirit and becomes the Holy Spirit. "This Holy Spirit is none other than the resurrected and now in purer, higher glory resurrected Luciferian Spirit, the Spirit of independent, wise knowledge", (B037, 22.3.1909). The Christ sent us the Holy Spirit, through whom we can understand what the Christ has done. Therefore, it is part of Christianity that the inspiring Spirit, the Holy Spirit is sent to people. So Pentecost belongs in the spiritual sense to Easter. In this way, the true knowledge of the Christ leads over spiritual science and from this a redemption of the Luciferian spirits can happen. So then the bearer of light the resurrected Lucifer will again become the bearer of light, of Christ.
