The Christ-Mystery
The mystery of Christ In the times before the event of Golgotha there were many cultures, religions and mysteries that worshipped the high Sun God and foresaw His coming. In the solar mystery, people recognized three suns - the physical sun, the spiritual sun and the spiritual sun. As the actual spiritual being of the sun, they saw a being that the Greeks called Christ (Christos). "This sun of which physics speaks, this sun is only one element in the whole sun. This sun is based on a soul and a spirit. And the spiritual, which underlies this sun, the Greek wise man still referred to as the general good of the world, as the good of the world, as the uniform good that permeates the world. That was the spirit of the sun to him. . . And with this central good, which is spiritual, there is again connected a spiritual: Helios, as the Greeks called it. And only the third, the physical expression of the good and of Helios, was then the physical sun. So man saw a triple instead of the sun. with this threefold sun mystery these wise men brought together the mystery of Christ, the mystery of Golgotha itself", (B046, p.60). It is the mystery of the Son of God, the Logos, the high Sun-Spirit who came down from the spiritual world to the people, who took upon himself the sins of the people, the separation of the people from the spiritual world, in order to free the people from separation and sin. To overcome everything material and to ascend again into the spiritual world. "Before the mystery of Golgotha, people lived with heaven, but this heaven is so sensual that it also disappears with the existence of Venus. What remains beyond the existence of Venus has its germs only in man. The Christ had to come to man from the universe if he wanted to take the course into eternity with man. ... that only in man is the seed for the eternal future of the world. ... That which is there in the wide circle of the senses as stars, as celestial bodies, it will pass away. But the Word, the Logos, who appeared in the Christ, and who unites himself with the eternal essence of man, he will remain", (B046, 24.8.1918). The Christian mystery is the mystery of the sun as a physical, spiritual and mental being and that of Christ as the high Sun Spirit. The threefold sun: "And so there was a stage of human cultural development in which the initiates saw a divine-spiritual being in the sun (note: primordial), then that stage in which the initiates saw forces in the sun (note: Egyptian-Caldean) that were at work there, and a third stage in which the initiates only saw the effects of the solar being in the ether of the earth (note: Greek). ... Julian Apostata said that the sun has three aspects: one of the earthly ether, one of the celestial light and the chemical and heat or fire and life forces behind it, and one aspect of the whole spiritual being. For this he was cleared away", (B172, 4.4.1922). "... and talked about that which lived outside the earth in the effects of the sun, in the sun itself, in the great Zarathustrian spiritual being of the sun, then these ancient initiates basically meant the same thing that is later called the Christ", (B 172, p.188). Before the event of Golgotha, the embodiment of the Christ in Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ-being, the high Sun-Spirit was an extraterrestrial being and was also called such by those who knew about it. "The real descent of the high Sun Being from cosmic heights to the Earth, that is what takes place in the mystery of Golgotha." (B172,P.189). Christianity will always be fought by the opposing powers, in which the death on the cross, the resurrection, the Son of God Being, the Logos Being, Being of Christ as the high Sun-Spirit, is denied. "And we will always have to place ourselves deeply before the souls, that in the fight against Christianity it is important to fight precisely that which is related to the sun, that the actual spirituality of Christianity is related to the sun". , (B130, 12.9.1924). The mystery of Golgotha is a deity that heals the fall of mankind caused by gods. "What the gods had not yet accomplished is to pass through death... The actual event of death in life was not a divine experience before the mystery of Golgotha. Death came into life through the Luciferian and Ahriman influences, through gods who were retarded or who rushed forward too fast. But death is actually not something that was present as a life experience of the higher hierarchies. It occurs as an experience, for these higher hierarchies, at the moment when the Christ passes through the mystery of Golgotha, that is, through death; when the Christ united with the fate of earthly humanity to such an extent that he wanted to have in common with this earthly humanity that he had gone through death. So it is this event ... it is this event of Golgotha an event of the life of the gods. What took place on earth, and what appears in the human mind as a realization of the event of Golgotha, is the image of something tremendously more comprehensive, greater, more powerful, more sublime, which took place in the worlds of the gods themselves", (B025, 13.4.1923). "Christ goes through his conditions in a different way. From baptism to the mystery of Golgotha there is a kind of germinal state. Dying on the Cross is birth, living with the apostles after the resurrection is a wandering on earth. The transition into the earthenaura is what for the human soul is the transition into the spiritual world. Exactly the opposite occurs for Christ. He seeks the reverse for his fate. The human soul goes from the earth into the spiritual world, the Christ goes from the spiritual world into the earth sphere, unites with the earth, in order to pass over into the earthenaura through the great sacrifice. This is the transition of the Christ to the Devachan. And now in the earth eura the Christ lives his self-chosen Devachan. Man ascends from the earth to heaven; the Christ descends from heaven to earth in reverse, to live with man. This is his Devachan", (B054, 16.11.1913). The Christ has united himself with the earth and with humanity; the world-ego as a being stands in the middle of the human world and opens the space of development necessary for the human ego development, between the adversary beings Ahriman and Lucifer. "The Christ is the Christ and only fills being in the world with positive things, does not fight against any power of the world", (B159, 22.5.191). The pure presence of the world-me defeats the adversary beings. "The Christ... stands in the midst as the One who brings the Parcival element into the newer times, who must bring the others to overcome themselves, not by their power but by their existence, so that the others overcome themselves and not he overcomes them. (B160, 18.5.1915).
